Willard Saunders Collection

Through a cooperative arrangement between the Sussex County Genealogical Society and the Lewes Public Library, over 50 new titles on the history and genealogy of Sussex County and Delaware have been added to the Library’s Delaware Collection for the benefit of local researchers. Donated to the Genealogical Society by Willard Saunders, the collection contains extensive documentation on the history and people of colonial Delaware.

Willard Saunders is a retired Federal government employee interested in colonial American genealogy and history. His Delaware interest is the Truitt family. His donation was made in appreciation of the volunteers and mission of the Sussex County Genealogical Society.
