Third Annual "Delmarva on View" Photo Exhibit and Contest

The Lewes Public Library invites local photographers to celebrate the beauty of Lewes and the surrounding area by participating in the third annual “Delmarva on View” photography exhibit and contest. The categories for this year's contest are Black & White, Flora, Historic Lewes, Landscape, Life at the Shore, and Wildlife, with $150 prizes going to the winners of Best in Show (color) and Best in Show (black & white). Ribbons and awards will also be made to photographers ages 12 & under and teen photographers.

 This year's exhibit features 32 photographs from 14 artists.  "Delmarva on View" celebrates the beauty of the Delmarva area, with an emphasis on the history, landscapes, and wildlife that surround us.  The exhibit will continue through August 18, with photographs displayed in the library's Main Wing.  Photographs will be on sale throughout the exhibit, with 40% of the proceeds benefiting the Friends of the Library to support library collections and programs.
