All Delaware residents are eligible for a Delaware Library Card issued through their local public library. Registration includes completing a registration form and presenting a valid photo ID. If you do not have a Delaware photo ID, please contact your local library for card registration requirements. Children under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian present for signature.
Delaware non-residents may apply for a non-resident card by submitting the registration form and a $25.00 fee to a member public library of the Delaware Library Catalog.

Academic and school Delaware Library Catalog member libraries require a valid student ID for library card registration.
You may print out a copy of our registration form in advance to bring with you to your public library. To receive your new library card, please bring completed registration forms, your Delaware photo ID and/or alternative requirements to your local public library.

Yes. You need your library card number to use as your user ID and the PIN number that you received when you got your card. See the staff at the Circulation Desk if you have forgotten your PIN.
Yes. You can return items from any member library in the Delaware Library Catalog to any other member library within the State. If the item you wish to return was special ordered from a library outside of Delaware, it must be returned to the library that requested it for you.
Public access computers are available with internet access and Microsoft Office Suite. Floppy disc drives are available for those needing disc drive access. Personal flash drives can be used via the computer's USB port. Downloading to the library's computers is not available. Stereo headphones are available for use within the library. Black and white/ color printing is available from all public access internet computers. Wireless internet access is available with certain requirements, but printing is not available from the wireless system. A copy machine is available for single sided black and white copies.
