The Lewes Public Library depends on our volunteers to help provide the extent of services we offer our library customers. Currently we have apporximately 45 volunteers who help with circulation and another 50+ who help with operations, Board activities, and fundraising events. With a circulation of almost 140,000 items and a customer traffic of almost 160,000 during FY 08, we couldn't do it without our dedicated volunteers.

All volunteers are required to attend one or more volunteer training sessions which are scheduled periodically throughout the year.
