Shop Volunteers Needed

The Friends are organizing volunteers to set-up, run, and manage their shop, Just Between Friends, in the new Lewes Public Library. Scheduled to open in June, volunteers will serve as Cashiers, Customer Service representatives, Book Sorters, or Shop Leaders. All those interested in volunteering must commit at least 2-3 hours of their time on a weekly basis. For more information about each of these volunteer positions, click here:

To volunteer, please click here to download and print an Application for Volunteer Service or pick up one at the Library's Circulation Desk. Applications also may be completed online by clicking here.

Volunteers must attend a training session that will be conducted on a periodic basis. After being trained, volunteers also may help sort the books and products, and place them on display in the new shop in advance of its opening.

We hope you will consider joining our team to help the Library raise money for books and programs, and have a good time while doing that!
